Cynthia (Cynnie) Thunem is now assisting Fleming with scheduling. Please contact her at this professional email address firstname.lastname@example.org
Fleming Rutledge’s schedule of preaching and teaching continues, but at a considerably reduced pace. Ease of travel is a significant factor (car or train greatly preferred–destinations on Amtrak are best). She no longer flies alone easily, so business class is necessary on longer trips if flying is involved.). Priority will be given to opportunities of meeting with students and clergy. Invitations for the last trimester of 2020 and for the year 2021 will be considered.
Fleming is glad to consider presenting some of the contents of her best-known book, The Crucifixion: Understanding the Death of Jesus Christ (named 2016 Book of the Year by Christianity Today). Her more recent book, Advent: The Once and Future Coming of Jesus Christ has sold very well and has stirred up a lot of interest, so the themes of Advent are friendly territory: the righteousness of God, judgment and salvation, apocalyptic theology, the Second Coming, the Day of the Lord, Christian living at the frontier of the Ages. Her most recent book Three Hours continues on the theme of the Cross.
She prefers “Mrs. Rutledge” in formal address.
