Most of us are so consumed by our own local problems that we forget, or neglect to remember, the physical danger of being a part of the Christian community in many parts of the world. The Rev. Titus Presler, a respected figure in the Episcopal Church, has had frightening experiences recently in Pakistan. Even more distressing is the effect of increasing hostility toward established churches and Christian institutions. Presler’s blog post on this subject is worth reading and pondering.
