What a sad, damaged person. What a wasted life. Only the rectification of God through the cross of his Son can retrieve anything good from this story. I am thinking a lot about rectification, which many biblical scholars now think is the best translation for the word justification in Paul the apostle’s New Testament Greek. Only God can make right what has been wrong. That is the promise of the gospel.
