Here is one of the most impressive stories about what a church can do that I’ve seen in a while. If you read it carefully, you’ll find a superb illlustration for a sermon on the fourth Sunday in Advent. Nina Bernstein writes regularly about immigration and performs a great service by making us see people who are otherwise invisible.
